High Mountain Hunts’ successful Costa Rican hunter has just returned from safari in South Africa where he harvested plains game and a trophy elephant. His adventure was captured on video by a professional photographer arranged by High Mountain Hunts.
In the first four days of his hunt he saw numerous elephants and passed many that most hunters would have been happy to harvest. He held out and was able to harvest the trophy of a lifetime!
Then proceeding to the plains game, High Mountain Hunts had carefully orchestrated and specifically designed this hunt so that our client could take a Cape Buffalo over 45”. After passing literally hundreds of buffalo and a careful stalk, his PH pointed to the trophy that he would harvest. It too was a splendid example of the specie.
Uniquely, after the buffalo was downed and while still being video taped, another large buffalo charged the dying buffalo and a 7 minute dispute proceeded until the charging buffalo was satisfied that our client’s trophy was no longer a threat. Apparently, the client had harvested the herd bull. He watched as the angry predator bull tossed his trophy into the air time after time..... Thankfully, no harm was done to the trophy and of course, this will be a rare film that he will play over and over.
